Lesson Learned

My car didn't start. After being parked outside for a year we reunited. I made the mistake of not UNPLUGGING THE BATTERY before leaving, setting myself up for trouble. I ended up having to take the battery out and going to Autozone to get a new one. The basic tips for storing your car for long periods of time are to unplug the battery, put fuel stabilizer in the gas tank to prevent oxidation and UNPLUG THE BATTERY before leaving so that it doesn't get discharged to the point where it won't hold a charge anymore. Furthermore, you can set the car up on jack stands to prevent tire flat spots and rubber deterioration. I did not do any, lesson learned.
